This is an absolutely fantastic base design for early in the wipe. It is just as practical as a 1x2 with a build cost only slightly higher than it's conventional counterpart. The pros are that this has a very straightforward and affordable upgrade path while being very cheap. If you avoid making enemies this could last a week into wipe or longer.
